Why is anger management education taboo?
March 14, 2020Love, anger and your relationship
March 17, 2020I wanted to take a moment and talk about what is going on in the world right now. In times of fear and uncertainty, stress tends to rise. Anger is a result of an unmet need and at this moment, for many of us, our need for safety, security and autonomy are not being met. Our finances are being affected, businesses are being asked to shut down and our overall life routines are shifting. It is more important than ever to check in with ourselves and make sure that we are addressing these fears and stress accordingly. Take more of your time to be gentle with yourself, communicate and discuss your fears and concerns with others. This is the time to practice effective communication skills and build healthy, supportive relationships. The one thing that unites us are our emotions, as a community, we are all facing the same concerns.
